I could always lose myself at Mahora Academy or the Magical World with Ala Alba, immersing myself in a world that is still breathtaking. Negima was always that one friend I had, when no one else was there to comfort me through my darkest times or spend time with me.

I owe Ken Akamatsu more than a lot, this man had given me a universe full of characters who felt real to me. I'm not an authority on marketing licensed properties, especially Japanese ones, it seems like Ken really didn't have a vision here, like he did with Love Hina and Negima. UQ Holder had a chance to turn things around, it's failure was wanting to be its own thing in the beginning, then wanted to become a proper Negima sequel. The Negima ending has lost its sting over the years, that's really just due to the fact I've accepted it for what it was. I was still upset over Negima's abrupt cancellation and ending. I've always had a love-hate relationship with this series, I didn't read it until 2015 even though I was aware of it when it came out in 2013. I'm not even affected by the manga coming to a close, I've been off and on with following it since 2019 and things have just moved around all over the place, I don't even know what the plot is anymore. I will try to be as respectful as possible, since this is a UQ Holder sub, there are people who genuinely enjoy the manga, there's nothing wrong with that.
